February 1, 2017 @ 8:00 am - February 8, 2017 @ 5:00 pm

Looking for a space to re-charge, heal and get in touch with your creativity?

Come and bliss out for a whole week in Goa with yoga, meditation and basking in the sunshine. Escape the winter and bathe in the light of the sun, with the shimmering waters.

Our home will be beachside retreat centre on the paradise of Cola Beach, South Goa. A stunning quiet spot, where you can relax, and give yourself space to start the new year in the most soulful and energising way.

Each day we delight in sunrise and sunset yoga & meditation by the sea.

Over the week we will nourish our souls, detox our bodies and light up our hearts.

We will have two vegetarian Indian meals daily (brunch and dinner), with on-going tea/coffee/filtered water available. The food is made with only local organic ingredients whenever possible and cooked with non-hydrogenated oils (mostly olive oil & ghee). The spices are freshly ground in house. There is a beach-front restaurant just three steps away where we can take complimentary cooking classes.

Stay in double beach-front, sea-facing cottages set amidst coconut palm trees on a semi-private beach overlooking the Arabian Sea. The cottages are constructed of local wood, have an en-suite washroom with Western-style toilets, and come with a fan, electric sockets, towels and very comfortable spring mattresses. The cottages are cleaned everyday and hot water is available at your request. There is complimentary wireless internet available if you need to stay in touch with those back home.

Optional Adventure to Hampi:

For those of you that wish to experience an Indian adventure before the retreat, you can arrive a few days early. We will meet in Goa and head to Hampi together on the train (an experience in itself!). Hampi is a stunning UNESCO heritage site, located on the banks of River Tungabhadra.

“Unreal and bewitching, the forlorn ruins of Hampi dot an unearthly landscape that will leave you spellbound the moment you cast your eyes on it. Heaps of giant boulders perch precariously over miles of undulating terrain, their rusty hues offset by jade-green palm groves, banana plantations and paddy fields.”

This ancient and magical place has Hindu and Jain temple ruins. We will dive deep into the mythology and trek up to the Hanuman temple, which is said to be the birth place of the monkey god of courage.

Please let me know as soon as possible if you would like to join the adventure so that accommodation and a tour guide can be booked.

The Replenish Effect:

It is important that our retreats bring benefit and expansion to all who are involved. We don’t just want you to fly in, taxi straight to the retreat centre and then leave the country. We make our retreats meaningful in the local community by building partnerships, supporting independently run businesses and doing all the little things that make a big difference, like helping you offset the carbon for your travel. You can also make a voluntary contribution to The Replenish Project. Find out more about it here.

Amisha Yoga & Meditation

About Amisha:

“I attended Amisha’s yoga retreat in Goa. It was amazing! Amisha has a great style of teaching that blends the spiritual and the physical to get the complete yoga experience. I got so much out of it and was able meet my intentions and then some.” James, Entrepreneur

“I came to Amisha’s retreat to learn more about the practice YOGA.  She taught me how to open up more and be in the moment. I loved how she created a space for the whole group to feel at home and safe. She really made me fall in love with Yoga. I will take her knowledge with me for the rest of my life. She’s a warm, wise and lovely person”. Aemilia, Film Producer

“Amisha is a gifted yoga teacher that shows her knowledge of both the spiritual and the physical side of yoga, and teaches both brilliantly. This retreat was life changing and I still hear her voice singing mantras in my head!” Paul, Entrepreneur

Amisha is delighted to be offering this retreat in her motherland of India, where both her parents are from. Amisha has spent extensive time in India since she was a child learning about her culture. Having grown up in the UK, she is able to offer an international perspective to yoga, combined with a native heart. This is her second year teaching in India.

With a love of yoga and meditation that has spanned over a decade, Amisha Ghadiali teaches vinyasa style yoga that is influenced by the anusara tradition, flowing with nature. Her classes are strong yet relaxing, focused on clear alignment and moving from the heart. She has a calming presence and uses playful theming, mantra and experience of exploring world wisdom traditions, to leave her students with magic, grounding and joy they can bring into their daily lives.

She is a 500 Hour certified teacher since completing her advanced teacher training in Rasa Yoga with Sianna Sherman, and has also trained as a priestess. There will be mudra, mantra, mythology, pranayama, ritual and play in the yoga sessions on the retreat. Each day will be themed with a different indian god or goddess, learning their story and what they represent inside us.

Amisha has used these practices in her own life to work with trauma including recovering from being run over by a pick-up truck. She has lived that typical stressful busy london life, and found that bringing a soulful healthy approach to her every day made living in the city much more joyful, rewarding and balanced. This inspires her to teach in London and offer retreats and workshops for a deeper experience.

She is a reiki master and intuitive healer who works with clients to clear blockages for greater freedom and empowerment. Amisha has been designing jewellery for her own label with the tagline “elegance rebellion” since 2006 working with semi-precious stones. She brings all this awareness to offer a holsitic approach to her clients and students.

Amisha is also a writer and speaker on all aspects of conscious and green living. A big part of her ‘yoga’ is about how we relate to the world around us and make a difference. How we embody our values. Her words have appeared in publications including The Huffington Post, Rebelle Society & Ecouterre. She has spoken at events and festivals around the world such as TEDx Oxbridge, Sunday Papers Live & Burning Man. Amisha is Co-Founder of 108 London, a yoga studio without walls that curates events across London.
